Mark Kupinewicz

Oil Painting

Mark Kupinewicz was born in historic Bucks County Pennsylvania. Mark began sketching as a teen taking inspiration from the landscapes, covered bridges, and historic sites near his home. Under the tutelage of a fine arts teacher, Mark captured an understanding of composition, value, contrast, texture, and color. He began painting in acrylics.

Putting his artistic aspirations aside, Mark enlisted in the United States Air Force. Military service is a family tradition. Mark became a combat trained Nuclear Weapons Security Specialist. He was stationed in Missouri for the 351st Missile Security Squadron under the Strategic Air Command. Mark’s the 3rd generation, his son became the 4th generation to begin service in 2016.

Mark was a licensed Investment Advisor and Securities Broker. Mark served Vanguard for 20 years.

Now free of daily distractions, Mark dove into different media creating various forms of art such as building custom bicycles resembling those from the 30’s and 40’s, Frankencaster guitars, tinkering & improving everyday products, and painting. His art styles are described as impasto, panoramic, futuristic, and folk art styles. He turned to oil painting to capture the beautiful landscapes of Pennsylvania, Missouri, Arizona, and Florida.

Mark is married to his beautiful wife Susan, has two children and three granddaughters.
