Whispers on the Tide

Art has always been my escape, providing a way to explore my imagination and express my thoughts and feelings. As an adult, these expressions have deepened, capturing the emotions and experiences of life through my paintings. I primarily work with pen and ink, graphite, and acrylic, focusing on the human form—often using myself as the subject to tell my story.

Untrained in traditional methods, I chose painting as a medium to better convey my inner world. Over the years, I've learned a lot about both the artistic process and myself. Each new piece is a challenge, pushing me to try unfamiliar techniques and capture the emotions I feel. Success, for me, is when viewers deeply connect with my work.

In just a few years, my art journey has exceeded my expectations. Displaying my work in galleries felt unattainable, yet my paintings have been embraced by many. My proudest moment was hosting my own solo exhibition, a monumental event filled with friends, family, and supporters. It was a humbling experience that made me appreciate my gift even more.

Looking ahead, I dream of opening my own gallery and café to showcase my art and provide a platform for young, unknown artists. I want to give them the chance to be seen, heard, and discovered.

If my art had a soundtrack, my paintings would score a drama, while my illustrations would suit action, sci-fi, and fantasy genres. Influences like Van Gogh, Michelangelo, Dali, and H.R. Giger have shaped my artistic vision.
