Jacquelyn Pfaff-Pratt

Jacquelyn has always been interested in drawing and painting. Since she was a kid her main interested was in the arts. What sealed the deal was seeing Michelangelo’s sculpture at the world fair in NYC. My mind was made up I was going to be an artist.
I went to college majored in art and minored in education. I then taught high school Jacquelyn's lifelong passion for drawing and painting began in her childhood, where her main interest was always the arts. The defining moment came when she saw Michelangelo’s sculpture at the World Fair in NYC, solidifying her decision to pursue a career as an artist. With a clear vision in mind, Jacquelyn majored in art and minored in education in college.

For the next 34 years, she dedicated herself to teaching high school art, a role she thoroughly enjoyed and through which she deepened her understanding of art. Despite her extensive teaching career, Jacquelyn’s first love has always been oil painting, a medium that continues to captivate her. She spends countless hours in her studio, creating images that spark her imagination.

While oil painting remains her primary focus, Jacquelyn occasionally explores other mediums, expressing the magic of landscapes, still lives, and people in her work. Additionally, she embraces the art of Plein Air painting, capturing the essence of her subjects in the open air. Her dedication and passion for art are evident in every piece she creates.
