As a child Lissette was surrounded by Civil Engineering, mathematic calculations to perfection, and a trademark of “We Make Ideas Work”, Design Services, a company owned by her father. She was the daughter of a great inventor. At seven years old, making doodles, in between her dad’s doodles, she decided to feed the blueprint machine designs and mass-produce them. Her venture in art and illustration began.
A graduate of the Academy of Art University, San Francisco, CA, then many years later The California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS) with a Master of Fine Arts, Creative Inquiry, SF, Lisette’s adventure continued. You will find Lisette’s work signed Lugo, in editorial pieces and fine art.
She has been invited to teach art and workshops in and out of a variety of venues such as corporate, elder care, private & public schools, special needs, and juvenile hall just to name a few. Offering education in art has been the bridge Lisette has built for others to have a voice.
